FirePro High Expansion Sealant – Rockwool Intumescent Fire Protection

The FirePro High Expansion Sealant from Rockwool is a high-performance, water-based acrylic emulsion with graphite, designed to expand under heat and form a durable, flexible firestop seal. When exposed to temperatures of 135°C and above, the sealant rapidly expands to reinforce penetration seals, preventing the spread of flames, smoke, and toxic gases.

Offering up to 4 hours of fire protection, this intumescent sealant is suitable for a wide range of applications, including combustible and non-combustible pipes, insulated metallic pipes, single cables, and cable bunches. Tested to EN1366-3 & EN1366-4 and classified to EN13501, FirePro provides certified fire safety performance and is CE marked for compliance and peace of mind.

Application Notes:

• Ensure joints are clean and free from grease, dirt, or contaminants.
• Can be applied to damp wood, plaster, or brick (not running wet).
• Porous surfaces should be abraded for best adhesion.
• Expect some shrinkage; slightly overfill joints for a flush finish.
